Prior to IUVP, Karthik held senior management positions at various multi-national corporations. At Flextronics, he spent four years as Senior Finance Manager, where he focused on providing accounting, audit, tax and treasury management services. Karthik was also an Investment Manager at Munith Investments Ltd, where he handled IPOs, managed working capital requirements and developed capital and revenue budgets.

Karthik is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Madras University.
